What you'll do

We're looking for a Backend Product Engineer to build and evolve the products that power Gilion's AI-driven agentic platform - making sure they're performant, scalable, and ready for what's next.

• Design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and infrastructure

• Own systems end-to-end: architecture, deployment, monitoring, and iteration

• Collaborate with other teams to ship robust features

• Integrate with agentic workflows and LLM orchestration layers

• Help shape our backend architecture and technical direction as we scale

What we're looking for

• 4+ years building and scaling backend systems in production

• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or similar - with solid API and service design skills

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and scalability tradeoffs

• Experience shipping features cross-functionally with frontend, data, or ML teams

• Product-minded: you balance delivery speed with long-term quality and care about end-user impact
